Kistler Tiffany Benefits, now a OneDigital Health and Benefits company, was founded by William O. Daggett, Jr. in 1973. Initially the Group Benefits department of Kistler Tiffany Companies, Kistler Tiffany Benefits began operating as an independent entity in the late 1990s. From 1999 to 2016, the company experienced significant growth, opening offices in Wilmington, DE (1999), northern and southern NJ (2001 and 2007), Allentown, PA (2004), and Scranton, PA (2008), solidifying its position as the tri-state region’s leading benefits consulting firm and General Agency.
In 2016, Shawn N. Orenstein succeeded Mr. Daggett as CEO of the company, with Joseph Dowd assuming the role of president and Mr. Daggett the position of chairman.
In 2020, the company announced a new partnership with OneDigital Health and Benefits, the nation’s leading strategic advisory firm focused on driving business growth for employers of all sizes. Through this new partnership with OneDigital, Kistler Tiffany Benefits’ clients will have access to an even greater roster of experts and resources representing the best possible in benefits, HR, and technology solutions.
Our employees possess a great wealth of knowledge as it relates to health insurance products, industry trends, and legislation. Many of our benefits team members have worked for carriers including Aetna and Independence Blue Cross and understand the nuances of the industry from both sides. Our employees are affiliated with some of the industry’s top membership organizations including the National Association of Healthcare Underwriters (NAHU), Pennsylvania Association of Health Underwriters (PAHU), the Greater Philadelphia Association of Health Underwriters (GPAHU) of which Kistler Tiffany Benefits’ CEO and President were instrumental in growing to the largest chapter in the state of Pennsylvania, the New Jersey Association of Health Underwriters (NJAHU), South Jersey Association of Health Underwriters (SJAHU), Monmouth Ocean Association of Health Underwriters (MOAHU), and the Society for Human Resource Management.
