Kistler Tiffany Benefits and Dilworth Paxson, LLC, recently joined forces to present a seminar titled “My Employees Can Miss How Much Work? Managing the Challenges of Leave Under FMLA and ADA.”
KTB Director of Compliance Services, Scott Wham, J.D., LLC, opens the program with a brief review of the current state of health care reform and the potentially for the American Health Care Act to replace and repeal parts or all of the Affordable Care Act.
Then, Dilworth Paxson’s Eric B. Meyer’s provides an understanding of accommodation issues under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Eric highlights common ADA and FMLA mistakes employers make and provide human resource professionals with best practices so they can effectively administer leaves and reduce liability for their companies.
